Common questions
Do I need to verify my email?
Yes—before you can create a deposit claim or place a bid. You can still browse as a guest or unverified user.
How do deposits work?
Pick a listed payment method, transfer using your DEP- reference code, then mark “I’ve paid.” An admin confirms and credits your available balance.
Why is some of my money “held”?
When you are the high bidder, that bid amount is held so you can’t overspend. If you’re outbid or the auction cancels, the hold returns to available.
What is anti-snipe / soft close?
If a valid bid lands in the final few minutes, we extend the end time so others can respond. Default is 3 minutes.
Can I withdraw unused balance?
Not in the MVP. Excess balance stays in your wallet until we ship manual withdrawals.
Who lists the items?
Staff/admins list inventory for the MVP. Public seller accounts are planned for a later phase.
